Welcoming Greyson Chance Competition #Throwback

I have my best experience ever - the experience which will never happen again.  That is about my experience in joining welcoming Greyson Chance experience five years ago. In this essay, I would like to tell you why I joined that experience and what I did in the competition. Let’s check it out!

One of the reason why I joined the competition is, I love him so much. I love all about him especially his music and his attitude. He is a good man. He always make positive energy for the people around him. The next reason is, it challenge me. One of rules in the competition is, we should make a handmade. The best five handmade will be published and give the handmade to Greyson Chance. I have never joining in publishing before. So, I have to join the competition. I want to Enchancers – call for fans of Greyson – know my artwork.

You have to know what I did and how I made it to solve this challenge. I passed it very long. Firstly, I bought some materials to make handmade, such as: flannel fabrics with various colors and yarn. I buy it after I have a course for preparing try out. I spend my study time to make a doll from flannel. But I thing it so bad. Head and body unbalanced. So I decided to canceled that handmade. Secondly, I made a piano from paper. I began to make scrapbook paper from porridge and scrap paper. Then I arranged those paper until formed the piano. But the handmade fail again. Thirdly, I tried to make scrapbook from the rest of scrapbook paper which I made before. I already made half part. But I think I can’t continued them. Because, I don’t have ornaments and you know that the ornamnents too expensive. I was almost give up. But I want to everyone know my artwork. Finally, I decided to make a pillow from the rest of flannel that I bought before. I make a simple pillow with ‘Ulya Loves Greyson’ words. I am not sure that my handmade is elected.

The next way, I send the gift to Kompas Office – kaWanku Magz. I went to post office after last day try out with Sisca. I am not sure with it. I didn’t expect to win. But I waited for the announcement day for two weeks.

At the announcement day, I don’t know what I feel when I know that I won the competition. KaWanku Magz send me a picture on twitter while Greyson brought my handmade! I see Greyson Chance reaction and his smile. The best part of this challenge, finally I see my artwork on national magazine at the first time. After my artwork published on magazine, I accept a magazine as a reward. Because of this challenge, I tried to send my another artwork such as photography, fanart, and wall of art. Yea.. my artwork always published.

That is all of my story about this competition. Now, you know why I joined this competition is because I love him especially his music and his attitude. I finished this challenge very long. I made a doll from flannel, a piano from paper, a scrapbook, but fail. So I decided to make a simple pillow. Unbelievable that my artwork was elected. This experience made me to be artworkers ever.
